I bought a Fitbit blaze yesterday and I'm convinced this product is made to allow fat people to stay fat.
The calorie calculation is WAY off. The watch can't even sync time properly once turned off then back on how can it possibly measure calories?
200.00 for a product that gives you a false sense of accomplishment is the hilarious height of American stupidity.
Save your money, get a simple app like my fitness pal and count your calories yourself.
Returning this piece of garbage today. Seriously, don't waste your money.

Hi there @Fatbags. Welcome to the Community Forums!
I'm very sorry about your experience with your Fitbit Blaze and that you feel that way about it. If you still have your tracker, there are a few things I'd like to know and that I can as well recommend to make sure that your tracker will be working perfectly.
First of all, your tracker works based on your BMR. This is, the calculation of the calories your body should burn for the default body functions as your brain working, heart beating, lungs breathing and so on... based on your personal information (height, weight, age, gender).
I'd recommend first going to your personal settings and checking that your information has been entered correctly. A common mistake is that for some reason, any of the information has been entered wrong and this will cause the calculation to be off.
Now, if that doesn't seem to be the case, you can also try to restart your tracker and set it up as a new device. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.
Now, for setting up your tracker as a new device, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
See if after doing this, your calorie burn calculation seems to appear more accurate. Let me know how it goes!
