Fitbit includes operating instructions?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought 3 Blaze's yesterday.  I go to set up and do the requests.

Where to go now?  I look at the Blaze and it just has a flashing go to fitbit.com/setup and that is it?

where are the operating instructions?  How do we use this?  How pathetic is a company that would make the set up/operations of a new $200 product such a mystery?  Can anyone help?

Thanks

If you go to the address shown in the Blaze, it will send you the correct software for your system. Download it, choose the I have an account, log into the account your using, and follow the on screen prompts.

Where???  Under "operating instructions?"  Why isn't this laid out plainly for people to see?  Why do we have to spend hours looking for something that should be included in the box, or at least something in bold on the home page saying "start here" or something?

Where EXACTLY do I go?

Stamsu- Take a breath man. It's all going to be ok! Did you visit the site that the watch told you to?

If you have a smart phone- download the app. It **ahem** near sets up itself at that point.

Why make everyone pay for a hard copy instructions when 99% of us never crack open a manual?

Download app- turn on Bluetooth on your phone and connect the Fitbit while app is open. It should prompt you for a passcode on the app and display one on the watch face. It takes over from there

Thanks, Mike.  I did go to the site on the watch and went thru the setup.  The watch continues to tell me to go to setup.  I'm stuck.

I won't use a phone with this as I will only use a MAC.  My kids don't have a phone and I don't want them to use mine.

You do realize that the blaze is designed to run in concert with your phone right? If that's is not your intended purpose, then maybe you should look into other options. Such as the surge.

@Stumsu scroll up to the answer @jthielen gave you, then click on the blue letters. Your phone or computer will then ask I'd you want to download or open three pdf document.

Fitbit does what 99% of all other companies that sell products that work through the internet. They supply all their help over the network, on the phone app go to settings then help. You will find a link to the Blaze 101 and the online user help guide.

Alternatively scroll to the bottom of any page on Fitbit.com click on the Help, now click on the picture of the tracker that you have, our want info on. This will take you to the interactive user guide, which includes the Blaze 101, please go through this since it will explain how to charge, set it up, and the basic functions. On this page is also the user manual, which I found easy to print out straight from my phone.

@Stumsu I'd recommend checking out this help article for instruction on how to setup your Fitbit tracker.

Additionally, you can find a ton of useful information on help.fitbit.com too. Let me know if you need any additional help!
