Fitbit won't hold a charge

Hello, recently my Blaze won’t hold its charge. I charge, receive notifications, battery is full and “misses you”, then within an hour or two is shut off and battery is dead. I charge (it shows red battery), get the full charge notification and within an hour is completely dead. Same thing with overnight. Charge before bed, dies before morning. I turned off the auto sync and notifications and no change. I think my Blaze is dying but I’ve only had it like a year- if that. Are there known defects? Who should I contact regarding this issue?

Thanks so much!

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

I have done all of this. I have been a user for more than 10 years. This problem is unique.

I'm having the same problem (as are other Blaze users in the last few days). I have also followed all the tips on extending battery life and good charging practice. There must be something wrong with latest app update causing this.

Update.  I online chatted with a member of the support group.  She instructed me to charge the phone and sync 5-6 times through the day which gives them a good record of the battery.  I have done that for the last 2 days and reported to the ticket I received this evening after it died again and is in the charging cradle.  So, no resolution yet.  Maureen
