Agreed. I just bought the membership to Fitstar hoping that the workouts would sync to my Blaze. It was one of the main reasons why I upgraded my entire setup. :'(

I just bought my fitbit blaze yesterday and I was under the impression by the fitbit website that you could get workouts on the blaze. When I purchased I saw that it only comes with 3 standard workouts so I purchased fit start subscription to get the workouts I wanted. While the workouts there are good, I don't know if they are worth $7,99 a month to have it only on my phone. I am willing to pay this price only if I can get the workouts on my blaze. To me The practicality of looking down at your watch to perform an exercise is wonderful and I would like to have the exercises I am paying for at my wearable. I defined feel misled by advertisements, hopefully the fitstar subscription this becomes a feature soon

@Michaels19 @Broph78 @SunsetRunner @amaravp @Cohof Thanks for the feedback! Please check out my previous post here. In addition, I think you should vote for this existing idea within our Feature Request board as it sounds like something that you'd be interested in! The more votes ideas get, the more likely they are to be considered for implementation in future releases. Hope to see all your votes in there soon!

I would love to know if the Fitbit yoga app will be added

Not fitstar - let's have workouts you can build yourself within the Blaze, I personally want to create a HIIT (Or a series of them) and would like to be able to save them and pick them out from within the app ??

7 months have passed since this thread was created. Has this feature been implemented yet? Having access to only a static set of 3 workouts is useless.

I must say that I have really become discouraged of getting a Blaze after reading on this forum. It looks like a half-finished product with missing features, and also like abandonware. I better save my money or purchase a device from another company than Fitbit.

@Heavenlyaz I haven't heard of the FitStar Yoga app being implemented in the Blaze hardware but will keep you in the loop if I do hear of anything in the future.

@PaulGallery I think that would be a good idea to create in our Feature Request board. Once you've created the idea, I suggest voting for it as the more votes the idea gets, the more likely it is to be considered for implementation in future releases.

@RadPitt Nope, the feature has not been implemented or confirmed as planned for implementation. If you'd like this feature on the Blaze, I recommend voting for this idea in our Feature Request board. The more votes this gets, the more likely to be considered for implementation in a future release. Hope to see your vote in there soon!

The workouts in fitstar on the blaze are disappointing.  i've had a FREE 7 minute workout app on my iphone for about a year, which is exactly the same.  i'm considering returning my blaze.  if the fitstar let you add one custom workout (controllded thru the phone app) i'd be onboard with it. if the blaze storage is limited, i understand, but let us delete one to add another as needed.  for $200 i'd expect about 100 exercises that i could chose from in the app, and load into the blaze. but this fitstar doesn't offer anything more than the app i have which was free, which i can also stream to my 55" tv.

😞

@mtnhiker70 dud yo ore for the request link found above? That is where you would go if you want to communicate your thoughts to the developers.

Is there plans so that we can chose which fitstar workout we have on our individual blaze so it is workouts we have chosen for ourselves

Hi, thanks for clarifying.

I guess what you said was what the devs thought when they were creating the feature on blaze. (Best 3 would be good!)

But the point is that it was very vaguely advertised that Fitbit would have FitStar - but forget to mention only top 3 from FitStar, which I think misleads many people to think that FitStar would be fully integrated with blaze, allowing customers do all the exercises that FitStar offer. The customers feel very cheated, even if the reasoning is logical - like "Fitbit blaze was not designed to intergrate all, but its just a device which sells FitStar so that we could get more benefit". It feels like Fitbit is trying to give to the customers a message and is giving an impression saying "We are not going to tell them the feature is limited, but fool them into buying it and give them very limited options so that we could urge them to buy FitStar monthly/yearly subscription"

In conclusion, I think it was just a bad communication to the users and they are not happy. Please consider customer relationship building. I know that it would cost Fitbit fortune to make huge improvement on the feature which product is already finisehd and has no or very low income & it would be way back in your backlog. But please win the customers over so that when improvement model on "Fitbit Blaze" comes out, the customers could confidently buy the product because of the exceptional service by Fitbit. It would increase the brand image by miles.

If development on this feature is not going to happen, please just comminicate that to us, and we can now stop worrying about the potential improvement on the feature. Also for the meantime, please fix the advertising on Fitbit blaze so that it says there are only 3 exercises to do from FitStar in Blaze.

Thank you,

From dear customer John

Hi,

it was good to have the possibility to change the fitstar workouts on the Blaze (like we change the clock face), we could select on the Fitbit app, the fitstar workouts available that we like to have on the watch.

this is the only reason that I don't go premium on the fitstar app.

For me I like to change from time to time workouts, and have always the same on the Blaze it's boring.

It's the only feature that I miss on my Blaze, everything is great.

thanks,

Carlos

Hi I posted this a while ago on the community boards, but I figure I'll get it done here too!

After owning both a Blaze and a Microsoft Band 2 previous I would have to say that one of the biggest advantages that the Band 2 had was the potential to add customized workouts to the band made it a great piece of equipment.

I think that the Blaze would greatly benefit from being able to do the same.  Either with a new swipe menu, through the workouts menu or through Fitstar.

Barring that, another improvement I would suggest would be to be able to add rounds to the Fitstar exercises.  The 7 minute workout is great, but being able to double or triple that workout would be a great step forward!

Thanks either way,

Joe
