I like the Flare Clock Face but even when I acheive my steps goal, the cicle isn't complete. Sometimes it even changes completely and shows almost no circle. Is the circle for steps or heart rate?

The flare watch face shows your activity for the current hour. Therefore at the top of the hour, the circle is empty.

Hello everyone, hope you are having a great day! 🙂 @kraymond welcome to the Fitbit Community, Flare clock face consists of 3 main elements: time, date, and activity level. The Flare on the outside will follow the current minutes to the hour while also displaying the activity for the hour. The more you move in the hour, the further out the Flare will extent.
@Rich_Laue, @Heidstirr, @SunsetRunner and @SirGeekalot thanks for cooperation! 😉
I'll be around if you have any questions.

One reason I don't use the flare face is because it is limited to one hour's activity.
Generally I'll use either the original, pop or Today for a more complete reflection of the entire day's stats.

Being limited to one hour is the reason I like the Flare. It not only tells me that I've moved, or not, but to what extent I've moved. It says a lot more than a simple you haven't moved 250 steps yet this hour.
Different folks want different faces. For me the Flare with the ability to see the Time, Date, and Steps, with one glance, would be just perfect

Hello @Fosse66 and @Rich_Laue it's great to have you here! I must admit the pop clock face is my favorite and some people complains about the design. It's all about what fits your needs.
Thanks for stopping by! 😉
