GPS - “Check Fitbit App”

Is the team ever going to fix the GPS “Check Fitbit App” error? There’s been threads on this for over 2 years, and it’s still not been fixed.

i have rebooted the phone, rebooted the Blaze, deleted the app, left the app running while starting Exercise, turned Bluetooth off and back on, removed the Blaze from the Bluetooth list, gone to Bluetooth Classic, and checked all the settings, yet the problem persists.

Can someone PLEASE HELP??????

iPhone 6s, most recent iOS and Fitbit App.

I am beyond done with this.

It's great to have you here @volklgirlSorry for the delay.

Thanks for the troubleshoot that you've performed. Please ensure that your app is open, you are logged into your account, and that location services are enabled.

Also, you try opening the Fitbit app to reestablish a connection with your device and reboot your mobile device, between other steps. Thanks for taking the time! You may want to check this post Connected GPS Information Post Options and Why isn't GPS working?

You can also check these suggestions from our good friend @Julia_G. Make sure that your phone and Fitbit app are up to date.

If there is anything else we can help you with, do not hesitate to post it.

I have done all of the above steps, as noted in my original post.  All I have seen in any of the responses is the same old list of stuff we’ve all already done.

Searching for the same solution and I see nothing has changed aside from the same old B/S....  Come on Fitbit... .fix the issue.  I too have tried every resolution suggestion.... nothing works for my bike.  Jogging works, Walk works, Bike is a fail.

Same for me. All kinds of exercise that could check the GPS fail. So disappointing.

I had this issue. I've just fixed it by turning off and then turning back on location services.

I have been having the same issues too and its driving me mad. I decided to go onto my fitbit app and them click set up a new device, then it will ask if youre replacing a device , click yes and pair it. I then checked to see if I could connect for exercise and it worked..so try that.

The only other problem I'm having is my battery is only lasting 2 to 3 days with notifications off and no exercise.
