Get call notifications but not text notifications

Hi, just set up my new blaze and turned on notifications ... I get call notifications just fine but no text notifications and yes they are turned on in settings. I have a Samsung S6 and use message+ app from Verizon for texting. Please help

If you do a simple search you will see countless threads about how message+ from Verizon doesn't work natively with the Blaze.

A work around is possible; you could try installing bitticker on your S6 and use that to handle notifications. Bitticker is an independent app (which I use) and can send notifications from any app to the Blaze. You'll need to get it from the developer's website though as it's not available from the Playstore but it is free.

I would agree about Message Plus, but doing a search I see many reports that with the latest Fitbit app this has been fixed and does work. Make sure y the app is up to date.

The app settings have to be set to show pop-ups, and the phones Sound and Notifacations needs to be set to Show on lock screen.  Also on the Blaze clock face swipe down, is notifacation turned on?
