Hi. Im new to fitbit. Got it yesterday. It showed that I have burned 4500 calories in a half of the day yesterday ! ( yeah I wish I could by sitting at my desk 😂 ) Due to the medication Im on my normal heart rate is around a 100. I guess it thinks that Im exercising when really Im sitting down. Is the any way I could make changes so the calories burn is more accurate? Thats one of the main reasons I got it for. I cant complain with 4500 but its unrealistic 😁 Thank you

Welcome to the Community @DoraCzar! Thanks for the details you've mentioned. All the data that Fitbit will show you it's going to be based on the personal information you've previously entered when you created your account, I would like you to double checked all is correctly entered.
Also, when you have a high heart rate your calories burned will be higher, because Fitbit will take this into account when showing you calories burned. You can learn more about it by checking this article What should I know about my heart rate data?. Since, you mentioned you're taking some medication this can be why you may have more calories burned than normal because your heart rate is higher than normal.
I would recommend to keep an eye on the information you're getting and see if you keep having the same 4500 calories burned everyday.
Keep me posted!
