OK, I went through and read all the old threads on this issue, yet it persists so I thought I would start a new one and see if anyone has found any new tips to help.
I've had my Blaze a little over a year now and am very pleased with it's performance, after a very rocky start (for all you newbies out there, it can take up to a MONTH for your Blaze to start accurate counting your steps correctly, so settle in and just be patient) except for ONE thing - the heart rate monitor consistency during HIIT workouts. I am a Crossfit/Bootcamp lover and have been in classes for 3 years now and recently purchased the Fitstar app to work out at home. It is SUPER frustrating that somewhere in the middle of my workout, the heart rate drops to a crazy low number, despite my high energy routine or just stops tracking at all.
Yes, I have tightened the band, yes, I have positioned it according to Fitbit recommendations, no, I don't sweat a lot - some but come on, you're telling me this thing is useless if you sweat a little? HELLO - it's made for working out, isn't it? When I'm in the middle of a killer workout, I don't want to have to stop, fiddle with my band, take my watch off, wipe off my wrist, put it back on, fiddle with the positioning and then start again. There is NO way to get an accurate calorie burn for your efforts doing that.
Am I the only one still having this issue and if not, has anyone found any ways to combat this and keep an accurate reading through a whole workout? Mine aren't even long, maybe 30 minutes so it's not like I'm running a marathon or anything. The HR seems pretty consistent through my cardio workouts like walks, but those are pretty low impact where the HIIT have me bouncing around quite a bit.
Thanks so much for your help, Fitbit land!

@CMichelle @You are not the only one having HR issues. For some perspective read this forum post:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Blaze/Cleveland-Clinic-HRM-accuracy-study/m-p/1876071
