Hello,
I rather enjoy the Fitbit Blaze but I am curious if the heart rate monitor is correct. I am tempted to buy a chest strap but again shouldnt be needed since I have the fancy Fitbit blaze. Any comments?

It's great to see you around @bryandrev. If you are seeing that your heart rate information is not being accurate or have inquiries about how this information is being calculates, you can check our What should I know about my heart rate data? article.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

@bryandrev Accuracy? It depends on a lot of things. Usually pretty good at resting heart rate, and steady-state walking and running (even then it can be wrong from time to time). High intensity stuff, cycling, weight lifting, and a few other things its hit or miss. The gold standard is still a chest strap.
