Heartrate not working /steps not reporting correctly

Hello. This morning 7/11/17 when I took off my Fitbit off the charger to get started for the day I noticed that my heartrate was not showing on my app nor my Fitbit itself.  I then noticed that it showed me having 43k steps for the day even though I was not wearing it.  I looked up how to reset the Fitbit and dot that 3 times. As well as powering down through the main menu.   After reading some of the comments in previous posts. I can verify that the green lights are flashing in the back.  I have the most updated software and app.

A warm welcome to the Community @David-D-S. About the heart rate inconvenience, I recommend taking a look at this post where you will be able to find some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Now the steps, are you manually logging any type of activity that might be providing you with extra steps? In the meantime, please restart your Blaze.
