How do I setup notifications?

I just received my Blaze today. I am trying to figure out how to get notifications to show up. I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 which is compatible. I've tried restarting my phone, my blaze, turning Bluetooth on an off, making sure my text is not open on my phone, and making sure I had notifications turned on. Basically everything I've read so far in the forums. It still does not show up and I am quite frustrated with it.

Its good to read the whole thing so you know what your device is capable of doing

If you haven't setup the notifications, I recommend following the instructions provided in the How do I setup the calls/texts notifications? (Android app) post. Now, if the issue is that you are not receiving notifications follow @MarreFitbit's steps in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.
