Inaccurate distance tracking during Run exercise

My run this morning tracked a much less distance than what I actually ran. How can this be fixed.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced such situation and how many times since then? Are you using the SmartTrack auto-recognition feature or initiating the activity directly from your device with the exercise shortcuts?
