The vibration for calls and texts is rather weak. Sure would like to be able to strengthen it. Any way?

This is not solved. Still weak. Barely even usable.

The first week I had this Charge 2 I could not feel it to wake me up But somewhere I seen where someone else tried what I tried. It’s been waking me up but when I get in a routine I’m usually awake before the alarms goes off but I’m always afraid that I will sleep thru it. So I brought a bed shaker alarm for backup . But the problem with that is it’s will wake my wife up. So I have it set for a later time than my charge 2 when I get up I shut that other one off so far I have not had it to wake me up.

Was this ever resolved?   The silent alarm is unusable.  I called Fitbit about it, and the technician said it was the first he had ever heard of the issue. I advised him to check this board for all of the complaints

That’s hilarious.(well no its really not...but you get it). I don’t see how that’s possible. I wouldn’t trust the silent alarm to alert me if I was already awake immersed in a task. I hope customer service does check this out.

Never resolved. Unless their tech support has some highly insane turnover rate, they have to know what's going on.

The original Blaze topic about the same issue was closed and marked solved. The solution was to buy the latest FitBit.

Never has....or will be resolved.
They are probably banking on the next model being sold as 'remarkable new
silent alarm'....& expecting us all to follow like sheep.

I will never upgrade to a model with more features when the ongoing infestation of bugs has never been resolved with the models they had a year ago when I first started out. They keep adding a plethora of more expensive “bigger better” options that I know are just as plagued with issues...but I do love my community! One day another company will incorporate a community with their product and all this nonsense will catch up with them.

I hate the reminder vibrations.  It should be more intense.  How many votes before it actually be solved. 12 pages not enough

After being on the market for two years now, it will never be solved. Mainly due to the vibration issue being hardware related. The Blaze needed a different vibration motor.

Best Answer

@Valerie29 could it simply be that to increase the vibration a bigger motor with a bigger weight needs to be put into the unit. This will require a redesign of the product, and will only affect future purchases, not past.

What's with the yelling, which simply States ""I don't know how to express myself".

Agreed. If changing a bigger vibration motor is a huge redesign issue, why can Fitbit shorten the reminder from 9 minutes to say 1 minute and repeat until the user turn it off.  If the second vibration wakes you up after 9 minutes, you may be late for work.

Yes although I love my Blaze Fitbit obviously doesn’t care what the consumer wants. This will be my last fitbit

Yes that would be great, either let it vibrate until turn off or do every minute till you turn it off

I noticed if I take the charge 2 off to recharge it  when i put it back on I have to make sure I have the band tight enough or I will not feel it going off.    The bed shaker woke me up a couple of times since I had last posted because I didn't have the band tight enough
