The vibration for calls and texts is rather weak. Sure would like to be able to strengthen it. Any way?

It's s  an alarm clock that has a virbrator attached .Got it thru Amazon  You suppose to put the vibrator in between a box spring and mattress but our bed doesn't have the separate box spring.I put it under my pillow on the silent for the alarm but it vibrates loud enough my wife hears it if I don't hop up and shut it off. In the two months it has waken me up two times and both times I didn't have the wrist band tight enough on the charge 2. I had to get it because I cann't hear an alarm without my aids and didn't trust the charge 2 to wake me.

Hi everyone! Great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

When it comes to the suggestion of making vibration stronger on the Fitbit Blaze, I was taking a look at the feature suggestion and it seems that this is not something currently planned to be implemented.

Thanks a lot for understanding and any questions you may have, I'm here to help!

It may not be currently planned but if we don't keep voting and requested, It will stay that way.  It seems an easy fix to make the vibration at least comparable or the same as the alarms.  How hard would that be?

Your post says "you're here to help", but all you're saying is that the company is not going to help.  I've already made my switch back to Garmin products -

Does the garmin do the notifications, have the alarms, and an activity reminder of some kind?  If so, what's the model #?  I'd want to make sure it's compatible with my apps.

I originally had the Vivosmart, then, after 1 1/2 years, I made the switch to FitBit thinking it would have better features.  With the vibration trouble, I now have the Vivosmart 3 and I like it.  The vibration isn't as strong as it used to be, but I use it mostly for notifications of phone calls and texts as I don't carry my phone in my pocket.  it does give you "move" reminders and counts steps, stairs, and exercise period times.  It's also waterproof, so swimming and showering is okay.  The battery life is about 4 to 5 days (the original one was closer to a full 7 days), but it charges fast.

Good day FerdinandFitbit

I am responding to your message in the forum that a stronger vibration is not being considered. There are 865 comments on this subject and I am unable to grasp how Fitbit believes this is not something your user base is concerned with. I started a post about the Charge 2 weak vibration and would conservatively estimate I have see over 150 comments to my post alone that this is an issue. I owned two of the original Charge bands and can honestly say the vibration on those was considerable stronger.

I encourage you to review these messages as many have come in since the holidays from people with new devices, with many expressing their disappointment and considering moving the to Garmin or other devices. If the reason this overwhelming request from your users is not being considered is because Fitbit believes the existing vibration is acceptable, I ask that mine be replaced as my device must have a "weak" vibration and therefore is not performing as it should. If this "weakness" is normal. that I suggest your advertisement is extremely misleading as the vibration alarms is promoted a valuable feature of this fitness band.

Hosting a forum for users to share experiences, suggest improvements and comment on possible inadequacies and contribute new features is greatly appreciated. However, taking no action is not an acceptable answer without justification.

I would appreciate your response to this message with either a replacement Charge 2 to replacement my "weak" device or a VALID reason why 865 people are wrong. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Alan

Well I feel if you would really like to help, just have them do a programming change. Have the alarm continue until you turn it off and a option to snooze.the 3 little indicators are not enough to wake you and then it is gone for 8 minutes, to return a second time for the 3 times again, never to return. Please ask for a program change at least.

I'm feeling the same, I got the blaze specifically so I could set alarm directly set the alarm on the watch and have it wake me up in the morning but other than the weak vibration, it'd only vibrate 3 times (??). I missed the alarm this morning as I was trying it test it out. Good thing I had a back up alarm on my phone! Unfortunately I might have to return it.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Yenl

I'm sorry you missed the alarm on your Blaze 😕

Sometimes it has to do with how you're wearing your tracker when you go to sleep. Wearing your tracker too loose will make the vibration to appear weak as the tracker is not in direct contact with your arm. If you could, try wearing it a little bit snug on your wrist and try it out again and see if this makes any difference.

I can’t believe there still isn’t a way to make it vibrate stronger or change the vibration pattern. I think wearing it tighter helps me feel it better but then it kind of hurts. Hope this feature will someday be in the works.

The easiest way I know of to increase the vibration is to put a larger weight into the tracker, but that would require a bigger mitor also. Then the case will need to be redesigned too accept the bigger hardware.

Since this is a spinning motor it is not easy to change the pattern much.
