I read that the blaze being discontinued, is this true? If so I am seriously unhappy. I just got my blaze in January and I’d have waited if I knew it was being discontinued/replaces. 😡

Don't get the Versa 2!!!
It is plagued with syncing troubles. I've been a Blaze user for the last 4 years and decided to get the Versa 2, after trying to get sync to work with multiple times, I reached out to Fitbit Tech support. for the longest of time they kept blaming my phone until 10 days ago when they accepted that there is an issue with Syncing. There is a group on Fitbit forums called 'Syncing difficulty with Versa'. You will find hundreds of posts there... If you have a fitbit device that is working, don't upgrade yet!!
My Blaze does not sync properly and notifications is extremely inconsistent. I hate Apple products and love the square face. So for the last 5 months, I have been getting by with just manual syncing my Blaze. It's a pain, but we got to live with it till fitbit comes up with a fix

@subbuparam My Blaze was 4 years old in March. I had it on last week for a bit while my Versa was charging, because I was in a step challenge, and was impressed how easily my Blaze was syncing.
I've had the Versa one for about 18 Months, and quite frankly, I think the Blaze is an outdated **ahem** at this point. I wouldn't discourage anyone from upgrading, and rather recommend it.
Blaze was replaced by the Versa and discontinued over two years ago.
It probably wasn't really even a good design. As there were many who couldn't even snap it in the band correctly and lost it.
And you can get more clock faces than you'd know what to do with on the newer trackers. Another big Blaze complaint.

I hear you and that's exactly why I tried switching to the Versa 2.
The only things I need are the step counter, HRM, Sleep tracker and basic notifications. watch faces and all that fluff don't excite me. The Blaze has worked even during times when it was 'outdated'. If something changed overnight, then either the device has to be broken or the application. If everything else is functionng well except notifications, then it has to be the notification server or the update that caused the issue.
All that said, the Versa 2 really sucks. I bought one Versa 2 device and within 2 days had syncing issues. I did some troubleshooting and nothing worked. I thought it was a lemon, so returned it and got another one. Same issue, worked for about 3 days this time and then stopped syncing.
The syncing issue is very real. i am a techie and have more workarounds and troubleshooting techniques than even the Fitbit tech support. But none of them work for more than 2 or 3 days. You should check out the group that I mentioned in my prev msg. You will find Fitbit support team accepting that they have an issue plaguing most Fitbot devices and that the team is working on a fix.

Dear ma'am,
I am so not happy with companies decision to discontinue blaze. Battery of my blaze is dead now. I am unable to operate my device with no service. I will not purchase your products again and I will let everyone in my circle to not to buy your product.
This is stupidest and expensive purches I ever done.
