I read that the blaze being discontinued, is this true? If so I am seriously unhappy. I just got my blaze in January and I’d have waited if I knew it was being discontinued/replaces. 😡

Thanks for your interest in this. I received the email on 15 October - unfortunately I have deleted it now but the details, including the voucher code, and the link to the Fitbit shop are as described in my previous chat with MarkMM.

Not happy as it is the 1st birthday day gift to me from my son and it has stopped syncing showing wrong time, bought 9 months ago and replaced few months ago. Not good brand experience.

Recently my Blaze keeps over heating. Now I hear its been discontinued 😞

Had it on my wrist felt a burning sensation and realised the charge on the back was burning my skin. Now when I try to charge it up it doesn't charge just heats up!

Any ideas what the problem can be?

I love my blaze I don't want to and can not afford to buy a new product.

My battery only lasts 2 days also. I can stretch maybe 21/2 days. This has been the case since I got it. Why, when it clearly states 5 days. That is one of the features that I bought it for

Not very good customer service if they won’t even fix the problem you have. They should at least continue to service the product.

Mine has also had problems synchronizing this week as well! I should have sent it back when I got it.

Contact store where it was purchased or Fitbit customer services. If under guarantee then consider refund.

I hear you. I have had two overheated Blaze units , now the 3rd is caput.

i am quite sad the Fitbit group has a product that time ex’s in 2 years.

good bye Fitbit. I will pay more for a similar product that does not have rapid planned obsolescence and go to iwatch , even though more expensive. I need a reliable product.

I just wanted to add that I've owned my fitbit blaze for a little over 2 years (past my warranty). I reached out to customer service because lately the screen on the blaze will go to really dim or not display at all and at times is not charging. Looking at the terminals that connect with the charger, the terminals look worn (which is likely the reason its starting to fall apart). I speak with customer service, and as i figured the device was out of warranty. Instead of offering an option to pay to have it serviced, they offer me a 25% discount to get a device from fitbit, but then told me that it wouldn't apply to there latest model. I bought my father the versa some time ago and noticed that the interface is different. There are more styles for changing the appearance, however some are free and some you have to pay for. In conclusion, fitbit now wants you to pay for additional features, such as pandora and other little widgets that work with the versa....I guess that was there plan. To get more money out of there consumers (dissapointed). To fitbit: the least you can do is offer repair for the blaze watch or a bigger discount for the versa. I loved my blaze; I even bought different bands so that it looked more appealing to what i wear at work (office attire) and purchased many accessories, to now have you guys only offer me 25%. Highly dissapointed.

Hi,

I battled with my fitbit blaze with the company, my fitbit blaze
basically died on me, would not hold charge, the buttons on side
stopped working, they would not do anything about it.

This was about the time they were discontinuing the blaze fitbit.

This Company has a bad customer service policy, in other words, buy a
new one????.

In my opinion Fitbit will carry on doing this to each of the new
fitbits they produce, and discontinue them as new ones come on the
shelf. I suggest you invest in Apple, at least their customer service
is fantastic

So sad. I liked Fitbit Blaze. Boy, did they drop the ball. I went
to iwatch. Much better customer service.

I think that is where I'm going to go too. Splurge for the iwatch. I am so tired of spending money on these things only having them last for a year or two. I started with the Nike Fuel Band - bust - discontinued. Then went to the Microsoft Band - bust - discontinued. Now, in less than two years after purchasing, my Blaze is constantly blinking and I cannot reboot it. I WAS pleased with it until now. They offered me a discount to buy another one. Really? Buy a new model off of a manufacturer who's product you purchased not so long ago stopped working? Would I do that with a car in the same situation? A TV? or anything else that stops working in such a short time frame? See you fitbit.

Before i got Blaze that Fitbit had plan to support traditional Chinese language before.

I had got Blaze and told me to purchase next model.

Could you help ~~~

So support? Does that mean software updates, or just allowed to interface with the app?

Very dissapointed. You can still provide upgrades and assist your customers who spent all that money in getting there issues resolved instead of just offering a discount for a new watch. All we ask for is something so easy for you guys but you refuse. My watch was working perfectly fine for over two years and now it’s inaccurately tracking my steps after I took like 100 it shows 75. Now come on that should be an easy fix

Garmin is rated better than titbit by Which? Help desk folks are pleasant but fitbit strategy is not to look after customers by constantly ditching them for new ones.  Bit like banks and utilities.

Not a great option to ask Blaze user to be without support. This will drive customers away to competition. Lesson need to be learnt from all companies that failed it's customers.
