If you want to take it off and simply want to clean it, or wash your hair, or swim, etc... do you do anything special with the settings? Do you go through and set the HR to auto or adjust any other settings like that at all? Or do you just simply take it off and put it back on when your ready?

I don't do anything special... I do have my HR setting to auto, meaning if it is completely still for a few moments it stops searching for heartrate.

I just take it of, the leds will stop flashing in a few seconds. True the detector is still looking for a change in light level, and possibly the Leeds will flash for a few seconds. I don't worry about this. Now if I know that I'll be wearing a different tracker all week I'll turn it off.
