It takes too long to sync

Hello!
So I'm not sure if its my phone or something to do with my fitbit blaze. Everytime I try to sync it takes forever and most of the time it doesn't even connect. I don't know what to do. Is anyone else having problems? Help!!

I find it syncs, but yes takes forever. I'll often get an update on a challenge, but the dashboard doesn't show it or even report the time as just now. Clicking the step tile, the next page shows the updated data. 

My problem is not the sync, but the reporting the data that the server has.

The only time this happens to me is if I am too close to my Alta that tries to take over. Otherwise, I find the Blaze syncs pretty well. Maybe another device interfering?
