Accepted Solutions

The LG G4 is not in the list of compatible devices for any of the trackers. That doesn't mean it won't eventually make the list as it meets all the requirements. New devices are added to the list as they are tested.

Make sure your music player is compatable with AVRCP. Not all are. Aee page 24 of the Blaze user manual, that can be found in the http://help.fitbit.com

Curious about this too. My blaze will be here tomorrow so I'll get to try it myself with my g4 but it'd be great to know what I have to do beforehand.

I tried going into text settings - notifications, and tried to put New
message pop up on - (mine is off) and that still didn't do it - it was
suggested by Fitbit that in your Fitbit App on the phone - if you got to
the dash board, then help, then email customer support, select your method
of email - it will give the phones email and your blaze info - to help them
come up with a way to send notifications to the blaze - also remember
before you try and set up your new blaze - save yourself the frustration -
and un-install the app, turn your blue tooth off, and re-install the app -
turn your blue tooth back on - and then hold the button on the left in - I
did it very early in the morning, (5am) it took longer the 10 min. to
update and finally finished about 20 min. after I got to work - Good
luck!!!!

Everything seems to be working on my end.

Make sure you enable notifications on the device and set them up within the fitbit app. You have to specifically tell it which apps you use for email, text, etc.

Also make sure Bluetooth classic is on and paired to your device. This enables music controls.

In your Bluetooth settings on your phone, you should see "blaze" and "blaze (classic)" listed

Lastly, this was already on by default but set the Blaze to "always connected" within the app.

My wife has the LG G4 and everything works except for one thing and that is when she receives a call, she doesn't have the icons to answer or disregard the call.  She can only see who the caller is where as on my Blaze I get both icons.  I have a iPhone 6s Plus though

@ratcityrain.  The ability to answer or disregard the calls is only available on IOS devices.

I can't even get mine to set up! Just got a blaze to replace a Xiami mi band, which had no issues pairing with my G4. I can't get past the setup screen after verifying the 4 digit number. Tried rebooting both phone and blaze, to no avail. I foolishly assumed that fitbit should pair with ANY bluetooth 4.0 device, but I guess that would make too much sense. If I can't figure this out by tomorrow, this is getting returned.

I found that I was able to pair and can sync my Blaze to my G4, but only if I am on mobile data and not wifi. If on wifi it always gets a sync error. I do get notifications while on wifi though.

Any idea when will it be available for LG G4. I am very dissapointed about it cause I could choose between others and the seller from Newstead, suntec city, singapore told me that it works fine will all new phones including LG4. What do I do now?!

Not sure if you have figured this out yet, but LG G4, is still listed an unsupported. However, I am able to get all my notifications, as long as my phone is on vibrate. As soon as I put it in silent, the notifications stop. I guess the Blaze realizes you don't want to be disturbed.
