Got a Blaze for Christmas this morning only to discover it's not comparible with the G5...which is not exactly a new model phone. None of the notification features work and it doesnt sync properly. I have tried uninstalling...resetting...disconnecting...everything under the sun and all to no avail. I am absolutely disgusted and will be returning it immediately.

I'm really sorry to hear that your LG G5 is not working with your Fitbit Blaze 😕

Upon checking the list of compatible devices, I can confirm that indeed, the G5 is not compatible. Most of the time, this happens when some requirements (either in hardware or software on the phone) are not met and in some cases, some updates help to make certain devices compatible but this doesn't happen to all of them.

If you have an alternate device that is compatible, you can definitely use it. If you're planning on returning your tracker, you can do so and get a refund for it based on the retailer's return policy and if it was purchased through Fitbit, you have up to 45 days to return it. You may ask the person who gave it to you where they got it from.

I also have an LG G5 and was given a Blaze for Christmas.  Just tried to use it today...  fail.  This phone is two years old...  Do you guys even have a team that updates the phone list?  Too bad because the Blaze itself looks nice...  but it will not work as advertised.  Looks like my Christmas gift is heading for Ebay.  No wonder your stock price is tanking.
