LG G5 not receiving text notifications

I can receive test notifications and call notifications...but not text notifications on my G5. I use the message+ app as im a verizon customer. Is there a setting im missing?

I'm sorry you're having problems getting notifications on your LG G5. The reason why this is happening is that this phone is not a compatible device. You can see the list of compatible devices here. If you have an alternate device that you can use for this, make sure that it's compatible and you should be able to use it without a problem.

Hi, i have the same problem. I have a g5 and iv been told numerous times that there not compatible. Only 4 days ago i started getting notifications from facebook, messenger, snapchat, instagram and phone calls. But the next day it stopped but im still getting phone calls. I don't no how they can say its not compatible. It must be to get getring any type of notification.

That's exactly the point. For phones like the LG G5, the compatibility is not full, which means that some features may work and some may not or you may see them working right now and not working a while later and this is the reason why they're not announced as fully compatible devices.

Yes that clears it up. If i would of known it was going to happen i would of chosen another Christmas present 😂 bit disappointing really that i cant use it to the full potential.
