Any luck on finding out if or when the LG V 20 will be compatible?

The best part is the customer service rep said they can not provide a refund because it wasnt purchased on fitbit.com. advised the only thing i could do was go to the retailer where it was bought! So infuriating! Oh! Or he said I could wait to see if it started working again because sometimes it could work and sometimes it can not. He also said it could work just fine for months and then stop working with no reason because the v20 is still not one of fitbits "compatible devices" its considered "not compatible" in the fitbit world.

4/30/18, and still no compatability. Problem is, at the store it states that it is for Android devices, and mentions nothing about which android devices it works on and which it does not.

I will never buy another Fitbit again they've been saying that since I've owned mine and nothing changes. The lgv20 is an extremely popular phone and should work with FB

This issue is not a Fitbit issue. This is a LG issue with the Bluetooth hardware they use and how they customize Android. I know this because I have had issues with a Fitbit Charge HR, Fitbit Blaze, and a Gear S2 on my LG v20 but have had no issues using an iPhone or Samsung Note 4 and S7 Edge.

Wow! It has now been over 2 years since people on here have been asking to have the LG V20 compatible with fitbit. I found this forum looking for a solution but it looks like I'm at a loss. I was given my fitbit as a gift and I'm not receiving any notifications from my LG V20 phone. I was able to get it to work for about a week then it stopped working again. I've tried all the rebooting troubleshooting recommendations to no avail. I get it to sync and then it loses connection after a few minutes. The LG V20 was released in September of 2016 and the V30 was released August 2017. It is now 4/1/2019...why haven't either of these phones been added to the compatibility list by now? All of the latest Apple phones are on there! I'm going to be getting a new phone soon and I see that the Samsung S9+ is on the list but the S10+ is the newest model and not on the list yet. Am I safe to get the latest S10+ model or will it be 3 years before one gets added too?

Hi, I just purchased the Versa lite and have bluetooth connection problems. I noticed the complaints from owners of the LG V20. Sure wish I noticed the problem BEFORE I purchased the Versa. I also noticed it has been 2 years since the complaint. So in 2 years the phone has not been added yet?? I'm going to return the Versa, and its a shame, I really liked the versa lite better than the charger 2.
