LG V20 compatibility

Generic answers just make us V20 owners want to reconsider the Fitbit Blaze. I'm about ready to take mine back to the store.

I just bought a blaze yesterday and I tried setting up music control and notifications with my LG V20, but I can't get either to work. I changed bluetooth mode to classic and paired the device. Then enabled notifications both in the app and on the device itself, even set the permissions in the android system as required. The music control also doesn't work, it keeps cycling between "connecting" and "loading" over and over again. My moto360 works perfectly, why doesn't the fitbit?

Your comment was posted almost 3 months ago. Is the LG V20 just not going to be added? I received a Blaze today for mothers day and think I will be returning it. What a huge disappointment, I was really looking forward to using it.

LG V20 is not compatible yet. But you can try to follow the instructions in the following posts.

• My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app)
• Having trouble syncing?
• Music Control

I don't guarantee it will work 100% but you can always try those steps if you are experiencing issues with your tracker connecting with your phone.

So just purchased a Blaze but Ive got an LG V20. Is it working yet??? Also why is it working for V10 and not V20....

I just purchased a fitbit flex2. If i cant sync in one week from today 12/1/2017. Back it goes. Im sure there are lesser know trackers that will sync to an LG V20

Here it is now 30 days since your post and LGV20 is still not supported. I just bought a FitBit HR and it's going back to Amazon as soon as it arrives. I can't even download the mobile app. This is more than frustrating!

Any update as of 12/26/2017? I bought the blaze and connected my lg v20 to it and nothing worked. I tried changing the watch to think its connecting to the v10 and i can use music but really thinking about returning it. This thread of frustrated customers from almost a year ago makes me wonder if you're ever going to make it compatible.

I just bought my Fitbit Charge 2 today. And it seems to be syncing. I get text messages and phone calls. Only thing is that all my calls say "unknown" but my texts tell me exactly who it's coming from. Obviously haven't tried all the features but those two seem to be working with the LG V20.

My wife got me the Blaze for Christmas. I never even though to check any kind of compatibility list. (I've got an LG v20 running Android 7.0) After opening it up and getting it charged, I just went to the Play Store and downloaded the Fitbit app. Did whatever setup it required and it's been working more or less ever since.

I did notice on Tuesday morning that Sync had stopped @ around 11:30-something Sunday morning, but all I did was reboot the phone and it (the Blaze) started syncing again.

I'd suggest at least giving it a try, if you haven't. Maybe it will work for you too!

Did you have trouble getting yours to turn on. Mine will while charging but
once you take it off charge it won't do anything!

Nope, no problem on that front. Something like that would definitely prompt a visit to the store, or sending it back to whoever shipped it to ya.

To this day the LGV20 does not work with fit bit! I reccomend anyone with this phone not to buy any fit bit devices as they will always only be "sometimes" compatible as the customer service agent told me tonight.

It has been working for me since the day after u purchased it 6 months ago.

It then all of a sudden stopped working for me and thats what the customer
rep said.
