Lost Friend Requests

My sister sent me a friend request (through app) - on her end it shows requested and waiting for my reply.

 

On my end - nothing. There is no request for me to respond to. She can't turn off the request.

 

I emailed her a request and she doesn't get it. And now neither of us can do anything since we've both sent requests.

 

Any ideas?

Update: She finally changed her email address in her settings - I sent her another request to the new email - worked like a charm.
