For the past few days I have not been able to see the map of where I have been on walk. I haven't (knowingly) changed any settings. What has gone wrong? I am using an iPhone.

So I looked at the help in my fitbit and it says it only now tracks biking or running.  That is crazy so I turned on biking and yup there it is working again.  What a dumb move to remove it from walking and hiking.  I never run or ride my bike so now I will have to play with those to and see what the difference is on there tracking and just pick that one when I hike.  How sad!

I looked back in my history and it stopped giving me the map in Aug.  In looking on my fitbit help it says it will only track running or biking so I turned on biking for a few min in the house and look at that there it is again working just fine.  That is crazy that they removed it from walking and hiking.  So now I just need to see if there is different info gathered for biking and running and decide which one I want to use.  Truly sad that they took that nice feature away!

I discovered today the last time I had a map (I hike) was in Aug 2020 but the help said it only tracked running and biking so I turned on biking inside the house and yup there it is a map.  That is crazy that you can no longer get a map of hiking or walking as I would think that most people walk :0)

@2sday On my Ionic I still have the choice of 7 exercises. Walking gives me the GPS. I'm into 10 minute walks at the moment.

@2sday Booted up my Blaze for a test, and walk is still an option and connected to GPS in seconds. No problems here.
