I currently have the fitbit hr but am considering getting the blaze. Could i use both simultaneously? Would it update data if i say wore the charge hr to the gym and blaze to work?

Using our Multi Device functionality, you'll be able to use more than one tracker at a time (provided that they're different types of tracker). Here's a pretty good help article about Multi Device.

Can you have more than 1 smartphone connected to the Blaze? Not at the same time but multiple devices.

 

For example, I have an android personal phone and a work iPhone. I'd like to be able to switched back and forth between the two depending on what time of day it is.

As long as they don't both have Bluetooth on in the vicinity of each other, and the apps are set up the same on both, yes, you can run multiple devices to sync.

You might be able to get away with turning notafacations off on the phone you dont want to use, or leave the unwanted phone nore than 30 feet away.
