My Fitbit blaze is not charging

MybFutbut Blaze is less than 12 months old & not charging on the charger. Looking at other post, this seems to be a common problem. The pins in the charger & phone don’t appear to be damaged

Hi there @Bookworm22. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry your Blaze is not charging correctly 😕

Whenever you put it in the charger, are you able to see anything coming up on the display? Do you know anyone around you that might also have a Blaze that you can use their charger to make sure if the problem is the charger or the tracker itself?

Let me know if you are able to try any of the above and if none of that works, I'll be happy to provide further assistance.

I'm having the same issue today.  My Blaze normally charges just fine, and it showed as fully charged when I put it on this morning, but less than 2 hours later it is down to zero battery.  I have it in the charger now, and the display does show it is charging.

I returned it to the place of purchase & they replaced it under the warranty

Hi.  I haven't used or charged my blaze in over 4 weeks and now it won't charge.  The screen is completely dark.  I have two chargers and tried both.  I've also tested the outlet and their is power. Still no luck.

Will not charge.  Have checked the power supply, cleaned fitbit & charger.  The back was constantly flashing but not now  Will show battery low when U put it back in band after trying to charge it, then goes off immediately.

No one I know has a Fitbit Blaze.  Sometimes the back will flash & sometimes it won't.  Sometimes you see a screen then again you won't. I even ordered another charger. I'm ready to send it back since it is less than a year old.  Have receipt & original box.  Just need to know where to send it to & how for a replacement.  There is an address on box of Fitbit, Inc., 405 Howard Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, California, 94105. Is this the correct place to return it?  Thank you.

Morning,

I have the same issue, charging the Blaze has been hit and miss for a while and now it won't charge at all for me.  When I look closely at the back of the Blaze at the 4 brass charge contacts they have holes in them.  These are the 4 points of contacts that align with the pins on the charger lead, so now they are not making contact with the metal to charge.  I think it must be the fact the pins are constantly under pressure against the back of the Blaze.  Is there a fix for this?

Thanks

RP

Hi Alejandra,

Thanks for your response.  I checked out the link you sent me and my Blaze does not fall into any of the 4 options given.  As stated before holes have worn into the 4 contacts on the back of the Blaze.  As a result the 4 pins on the charger do not make contact anymore.  The only fix is to replace the contacts strip on the back the Blaze.  This was a gradual hit and miss with charging, but the holes have got larger than the pins, so no contact is being made between the two.
What;s my next option?

Thanks

RP
