My back button on my Fitbit Blaze won’t work

My back button on my Fitbit blaze stopped working. Not sure what to do. The only way to get off a screen page is to let it die and then restart or throw it on the charger to bring me back to the home page. When it does it will restart and turn back on by pushing the back button once off. So I am not sure why the button will not work when navigating through the screen pages.

Have you tried pressing the back button on the unit after removing the frame?

Also teyta restart or shutdown both can be done through the settings and only requires swipes and tapping of the screen

Thank you for your response. Yes I removed it from the frame and pushed it and it won’t work. I am able to swipe between pages and hit the face of the Fitbit ok. But for example if I go to the settings page I get stuck because I can’t back out and  cant get off that page because the back but doesn’t work. I have to shut it down then turn it back on (by pushing the back/power button - which why it is weird to me because it works completing that task just fine) just in order to get back to the main screen.

Are you by any chance putting the pebble on upside down? Do the Blaze’s buttons work when you have it out of the band? If not can you feel travel on the buttons?

It might be the rubber under the button has moved and no longer makes contact with the board or something pop is gumming it up and keeping the rubber pad from moving. Maybe try alcohol on a qtip and ban alcohol over the button to clean it.

Something may be lodged in between the button and pebble housing. Get a can of compressed air to dislodge it, I use those for my PC Builds, it works wonders for stuck buttons and cleaning electric components. Be careful of thick hand lotions and creams, that can get in there and dry up, too. Hope that works.

I have the same issue. The back button doesn't work but the two other buttons do.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @Mhundelt ! I'm sorry to hear that the back button on your Blaze doesn't work. Thanks for the details provided and for the steps you tried. I also appreciate that you did what @Rich_Laue kindly suggested. I will recommend cleaning the edges of he button with a toothpick, sometimes dust gets stuck and does not let the button work. Please let me know how it goes! Woman Happy
