New Blaze will not update

Hello, can someone please help! I have bought this new blaze and it just will not update, I haven't been able to use it yet because of this, I have turned it off several times, changed Bluetooth settings, I even took it back to the shop and swapped it because I thought it was faulty but the next one is doing the same.

it just keeps telling me "could not complete your fitbit blaze update" "retry update" and I have done this 50'000 times it seems.

and yes it is fully charged, although when I put it in the charger it only shows the fitbit icon and fitbit.com/set but when my brother puts his in it shows the battery and how much charge it has.

A warm welcome to the Forums @tashaebrandi and thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

 

Have you tried to restart your Blaze? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by following these steps:

 

  1. Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

 

After this process, take a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there to update your Blaze.
