Hi - I just upgraded my Surge to a Blaze - it syncs ok to my iPhone including text & call notifications, however, I cannot get it to control music, I have read up and it appears it is controlled through Bluetooth classic - which I do not have - on the phone Bluetooth it shows my blaze is connected but no blaze classic, subsequently there is no classic on my blaze settings - I have tried all the normal, un-pairing, turning phone off all to no avail - I am really sorry if this has been asked before - any help would be really appreciated
Note - my old surge showed classic & worked well

@Reevsie  What happens if you launch some music on your phone?  Mine states that until I start playing something on my phone - then from there I can control the music on the Blaze.

@Reevsie  I am using an iPhone as well, and don't have the BT classic setting showing anywhere either, but my controls work.  What do you see if you swipe down from the top of the clock screen on the Blaze?

Oh dear I now feel a bit of a plonka - I tried with my music app open & it works - didn't have to do that with the Surge - does the GPS automatically connect or is there anyway of checking it ?
Sorry to ask so many questions 😀

@Reevsie  Glad you got it figured out.  As for the GPS connection, you have to initiate it when you start an exercise.  For example, on the BLaze I'll go to exercises, then click on "RUN".  Then it will try to connect to the phone and the GPS.  It will then say when connected.  (There are certain settings that have to be enabled on the Phone to use this, but it will alert you if they are not turned on.)

Hope that helps!
