I have had a Blaze for quite a while and had a Samsung S6 and everything synced great and was getting notifications all the time. I then upgraded to the Samsung S8+ and everything worked ok at first but now I am getting no notifications at all. I contacted customer support and they tried to help me reset everything to receive the notifications but nothing worked, in the end they sent me a new Blaze but everything is still the same.
Is anyone else having the same problems as myself

It seems that the S8+ is not fully supported by fitbit and notifications are a particular problem. Have a look at this thread that covers the issue in detail:
