Not receiving notifications from AirVisual app

So I've been using my spouse's Blaze as my Charge HR is pretty much dead.  It's been pretty fantastic, but I haven't been able to figure out a few things regarding the device.  One of these things are the "App Notifications".  It does text messages splendidly and e-mail messages a bit too well (though asking how to filter the e-mail notifications is probably best reserved for another post), but I can't seem to get it to work with some of my weather condition tracking applications even though I can add a checkmark next to that application (namely AirVisual which I've set to tell me when the local AQI starts getting bad or returns to what is tolerable—seemed like a good idea to have it alert me of this on a fitness tracker).  Anyone have any idea of how to get this to work?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using with your Fitbit Blaze? Also, when was the first time you experienced this notifications concern with the AirVisual app? Are you having difficulties with another app or just with this one? 

 

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Blaze are correctly configured. After verifying such information, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

The device that I'm using is the Samsung Galaxy S8+.

 

As for when I first started experiencimg the matter with AirVisual, the notifications from it haven't worked yet on the Blaze.  Gmail, Calls, and SMS notification work fine.  However, I've not set any other applicants to send notifications to the Blaze.

 

I'll try some of the troubleshooting tips to see if they work.

Michael, I am having a very similar issue with the Ring App.  I do not get any notifications either also using a Galaxy S8+
