Not tracking all my steps.

I have been training for a half marathon (walking). I know that I am walking over 13 miles, however, my Fit Bit Blaze is not picking up not even half the steps. I am finding it disheartening. I have measured my route in the car as well as with the GPS on my phone. Help!

A warm welcome to the Community @Timswyfe. How are you logging this activity? Are you selecting it directly from the tracker or are you letting SmartTrack do this for you? In my personal opinion, I would let the SmartTrack feature to register this exercise. Also, to obtain a better result, measure your stride length by following the instructions provided in this post.

I'm just letting it track as usual. I never put it on anything specific.

Im a little confused, you say it is not tracking all your steps and have confirmed the distance, without giving any evidence of the step count being off.

The auto detect function doesn't report distance.

Thanks for the information @Timswyfe and @Rich_Laue for stopping by.

Could you please walk 100 steps and let me know how many does your Blaze registered. But before this, please follow the restart procedure.

Same problems here.   Very frustrating.   Its tracking steps, but not calculating them in miles.   18000 miles is more that 1.8 miles

It's great to see you around @Mczech. Have you measure your stride length? If you haven't, I recommend checking this post and follow the instructions provided there. Also, if you can follow the steps provided in my previous post would be great.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

yes... have been through alll the trouble shooters.   Simple math going on here.   Its measuring my steps, but the app is not correctly converting them to miles.   Why is this concept so hard to understand?
