Not tracking distance correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I connect my Blaze to my phone before my run, but the last two times I have run it is not tracking my path or my miles correctly. When I look at the Fitbit app map it just shows my line all squiggly and my miles are about two-thirds of what they should be. I have been using this Blaze for about a month-and-a-half and it has worked perfectly up until the last two runs.

Hey there @N8King. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your distance not showing correctly after you run 😕

When it comes to GPS tracking, it can sometimes be affected by being surrounded by many trees or tall buildings. If you've been running the same path lately and it just happened until now, I don't think that would be the case. In that situation, I would recommend restarting both your tracker and your phone.

You can easily restart your tracker by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Once you've restarted both, try it again and see if there's any improvement.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

Heavy cloud cover may also cause this, and with android I find those map is crazy if I don't have enough free memory.. Restarting the l one, are manually unloading apps help.
