Note 4, calls yes, texts NO! HELP!!!!

I'm so frustrated with my Blaze. I've tried everything but no texts which is why I bought it mostly. I get my caller ID but no texts. It says notifications running too. Not!

Notification must be running for you to get calls.

What messaging app are you using? 

Is the notification settings for messaging set for the right app? 

Some text apps require view body to be enabled.

On  the phone

Go to your sound an notifacation settings, swipe down to show on lock screen set it for yes. 

Go to applications default make sure the right text app is set for default

I switched to messenger this morning as suggested in the forums. Everything else you suggested was already in place so I don't know. Maybe it's my phone. This is my 2nd Blaze. The first one stopped syncing after one month. I read somewhere that there may be interference from my other paired devices. I can't turn them off or unpair them because I use them. If that's the case I'm out of luck. My phone says Fitbit notifications running and it does for calls but not texts or calendar actually but I can live with that. Thanks for your help.

The only time other devices should interfere is if you sync your tracker through multiple deveces.. As in having a phone, pc, and an iPod, in this case the other devices need to be removed from the vicinity are there Bluetooth needs to be turned off.
