Notification with S8 not working!!!!

Hi all. I got fitbit blaze as christmas gift and i was so happy but have some problems with this watch!! i can't recive any notification from my phone samsung s8..... 

I almost tryed everything what i found on forum and nothing!!! maybe is any diffrent way to set up this? Could you advise me please... if i couldnt be set it up i will return this watch and i will buy different brand becouse it isnt worth this money....!!!!

I can suggest two things to try:

 

1.  on the phone app go to the devices list (tap on the rectangular icon on the upper right), then select the Blaze.  Tap on the Notifications tab. Suggest disabling the preset text, calendar and email notifications then tap on the App Notifications. Scroll down and select the App notifications you want to receive (the specific Message, Email and Calendar apps you use). I find that the pre-set apps tend not to play well with my S6.

 

2.  On our Blaze, swipe down on the main screen and make sure Notifications is turned on.

 

Hope these steps clear up your issue.

I bought my Blaze yesterday as well and my S8+ notifications are not appearing on the blaze. I've tried all the troubleshooting from other forums, but have not been able to get it to connect. Seems like I can connect to blaze classic (for music) but the normal Bluetooth gets rejected every time.

 

Really wish this would have been fixed by now, but I might have to exchange for a different watch.

Hi.
I connected my blaze with my boyfriend phone and was work perfect then i up
dated my android on s8 and after this watch start working with all
notification gps ....so maybe try up date your android version.

As the app paired your Blaze to the phones Bluetooth yet?

I removed fit bit app first from phone then I go to setings / up date
software / download the updates manualy then wait for update phone and when
phone is reset download fot bit app again and try set your watch as normal.
