One LED not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

One of my LED lights on the back of my Blaze is not on. I've tried the suggestion of turning the heart rate function in the app off sync and turn on and sync. Still only one of 2 lights. Was going to try a hard reset. What is the chances my Blaze is crapping out? It's about 19 months old. Thanks for any suggestions

A warm welcome to the Community @SunsetRunner, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

If the heart rate sensor is not longer working, I recommend restarting your tracker one more time. Please confirm you did the following to restart it:

  1. Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

I have restarted my tracker 3 times as per the instructions you provided.
Only one green light is on and the heart rate function is not working.

Is my Blaze still under warrenty?
Thanks for your help.

Hello.  I have done the same thing and both of my LED lights are not working as well.  My heart rate hasn't been tracked all week.  My fitbit is less than a year old.

Hello.  I have reset my fitbit several times and the LED lights aren't working and my heart rate has been resting at 70 and isn't reading my heart rate and I have it turned to "on" instead of "auto".  It is less than a year old.

I seem to be having the same problem as described here. Only one green LED light working, I’ve tried the reset but no change. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Mine is doing the same! Tried the resets and still had no luck. The second led wont turn back on and the HR is not reading. Any other suggestions???

Mine is experiencing the same problem.  One light died after about 18 months of use.  That seems to be about the lifespan of Charge 2s.

Hello,

I had 1 LED light quit working this weekend. It's causing my battery to drain quickly unless i turn the heart rate setting to OFF. It only reads my heart rate in the ON setting. So i followed your instructions to reset and it still isn't working. My fitbit is about 18 months old.

I’ve also got the same problem. Started as a frozen screen. Then no heart tracking. Now only one led light. Use it everyday. I did crack the screen putting it into the charger. Probably my own problem now but if there’s any fix, I would appreciate ANY HELP

Mine also just started to do the same. Only 1 Led is working even after doing a hard reset. From looking at the threads on here about the Blaze it seems the actual lifetime of the watch Is only 2 years before it starts to fall apart. Not good imo

Agreed that average lifetime of the device is 2 years. Mine did the same and customer service refused to acknowledge this issue that many of us are having. Please DO NOT SUPPORT FITBIT any longer.  Their devices are made to break after a certain time so you have to buy another for them to continue to make money. Please do NOT support this motto. These devices are not made to last.  I am going to find another device that cares about their customers and QA in their products.

Replaced mine with an Apple Watch in December. Couldn’t be happier

Good morning.

I purchased my Fitbit Blaze in November 2018.

Up until a week ago, I had no issues with it at all and was enjoying all of its functions.

But now, my battery life has reduced from approx 3 days to about 5-6 hours. And also, only one of the lights at the back is now working.

I have read through this forum and have tried all of the suggestions.

Could you advise me of my next move please.

Thank you.

Hello, just a quick question did the company replace your fitbit? And if so, did they charge you anything?

Best Answer
Hi, yes they did, I ring them up, had to run through a number of different
processes/diagnostics, when all that failed they offered me a replacement
of same Fitbit or nominal voucher for an upgrade.

Thanks
