@ITLH  Unfortunately, if it is not a supported device, you may experience this issue quite frequently.  Just because a device is not listed doesn't mean it won't work, it just means that Fitbit will not guarantee it will work 100% of the time and that it will work the way it is supposed to work.

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine! Woman Happy

I know that it would be great to have support for all types of phones. I just want to let you know that our team is hard working in testing the compatibility of several phones, I recommend keeping an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update. Also, you can visit our feature suggestions board and let our team know which phones would you like to be compatible.

Catch you later. Woman Wink

My fitbit alta used to show notifications from my oppo r9s. But obviously when it did an update it now doesnt work. We have had trouble with syncing in the past but that works fine now. Just wondering if notifications will work again. Cheers AmandaClaire

It's great to see you here @AmandaClaire and @ITLH thanks for the update, I am glad to hear that you will be buying a new phone, you can take a look at our list of compatible mobile devices to see which ones are compatible with our trackers.

Now @AmandaClaire about the notifications, as mentioned, your phone needs to be compatible in order to work properly with the Fitbit. You can always try and follow the instructions provided in the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Great! Spend hundreds of dollars buying a new phone to get the fitbit to work properly - what a great outcome????  Fitbits' lack of response on the issue of OPPO R9 compatibility is really very poor customer service.  A most unhappy customer.

Really Fitbit need to get their act together.  Absolutely no reason for the Oppo R9 not to be compatible with Fitbit.

Very very disappointing Fitbit, the Ionic is expensive and will not do as advertised on my phone.

If anyone finds another fitness tracker that is compatible with the Oppo R9, please let me know?

I would be happy to keep my phone and get a different brand tracker.
