Orange thermometer on all the time

So the orange thermometer sign now been on Fitbit for about 24 hours. Tried resetting, and nothing changed. Put the blaze in the fridge for 10 minutes and it worked again but then after about 5 mins, the thermometer icon came back on. 
does this mean that’s it, broken and no good anymore? Any advice very welcome
