Overheating warning symbol

So I researched and read other postings for the overheating symbol on my Fitbit Blaze.  Crazy as it wasn't even hot out, but anyways, I tried to reboot the blaze with no luck.  Called support and was rather disappointed after a couple minutes of trying what I already tried, and was told that my Blaze was essentially useless.  There was no explanation on why this would happen, I was just offered 25% off another Fitbit product.  Having this one for only about a year and a half, why would I spend the money to get another?

Thank you as I just wanted to vent my disappointment with my Blaze & customer services lack of an explanation.

Mirky87,

Did you read posts #36 & #37 on this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Blaze/Temperature-symbol-on-display/m-p/3639651/highlight/false#M119...

If you don't mind attempting a little "surgery" on your Blaze, I believe you will be able to fix this problem. The worst that can happen is that you completely trash your Blaze, in which case, it STILL won't work. So, you've got nothing to lose. Just the cost of a few tools.

Good Luck,

~Rick
