Problem using Blaze whilst boxing

Smiley FrustratedAdvice needed!!!! I tried using my new Blaze whilst boxing today, and each time I wore focus mitts the touch screen of the Blaze activated and paused, changed screen etc etc... big time annoying.  I ended giving up trying to record the session, it was pointless.  Any suggestions on how to use the Blaze whilst boxing would be useful - has anyone tried taping the monitor to their arm, or other location to avoid the constant touching of the gloves/mitts?  An option to lock or turn the touch screen off would be useful.

Hi there @CeeTeeMe. Glad to see you in the Community! 🙂

You can take a look at this thread where another user doing kickboxing was having a similar issue and @EmersonFitbit gave some great advice that you could find helpful.

Let me know how it goes and any other thing, I'm here to help!

I use mine for boxing all the time with no issue I just move it up higher. If that is truly not working for you I'd suggest not setting your Blaze in a workout mode and letting it auto recognize the workout and categorize it after. It will record your workout with no fear of pause and since you can't see it under your glove anyway its not like you're missing out on your stats during the workout anyway.

@bj2burchi tried, but I'm not happy with "autotracking"...  My workout began at 20:00 and end at 21:06, "autotracking" record from my workout from 20:46 to 21:04. Calories was counted, but in activity history is inaccurate record. On next training i try it cover with something... maybe boxing bandage can help.

Well it finally happened to me. Not sure why but after 1 year it kept pausing all of boxing. I understand now. I got so frustrated I ditched the boxing gloves in favor of MMA gloves. Odd though never had the issue before. Must have jinxed myself!
