Problems getting Whatsapp notifications on Samsung Galaxy S9+

Hi,

I've had my Fitbit Blaze for approximately 2.5 years now and have had no issues what so ever when connected with an iPhone.

I've recently however sold my iPhone and transferred over to android on a Samsung Galaxy S9+. My blaze syncs fine with my phone however I've noticed when I recieve whatsapp notifications, the blaze is every hit and miss to notify me of the most recent message. Sometimes il get a WhatsApp message on my phone and it will instantly recieve this on my blaze however sometimes this message can even be as delayed as a couple of hours!!

Another problem Ive noticed is that if I recieve a message on my phone, my blaze will notify me of a WhatsApp message however it will not show me the most recent message I have recieved and instead show me an old message. Again, I never had this issue with my iPhone and it has only started happening since I've switched to android

Hi there @Chris9393, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your Whatsapp notifications correctly on your Samsung Galaxy S9+ phone. I'd like to help you out with this.

First, I can recommend removing your tracker from your connected Bluetooth devices and then, set it up as a new device. For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device". Then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
