In my time using Fitbit, I've noticed quite a few discussions about Fitbit tracking Adaptive Motion Trainer (AMT) workouts. The AMT is commonly used by runners as a cross training tool or injury recovery tool, and I seem to be able to speak for many other Fitbit users when I say: Fitbit, please add this activity to your smart activity tracking! I've tried wearing my Blaze on the AMT to get heart rate tracking accuracy, but then it underestimated by distance traveled by SIX miles. Here's to hoping this gets added in an update soon!

I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself clear before @haddocksd.
What I tried to say is that currently this is not an option. When a feature is not available for our products, we encourage users to create Feature Requests in the Feature Requests board for our Product Development team to notice our users needs and work on possibly making the more populars available.
In this case, was only able to find a feature request for people to be able to manually track AMT from their Fitbit trackers but I couldn't find a request for this to be part of the SmartTrack exercises which is the feature where exercises are automatically logged from your tracker.
If you still have any doubt about this, let me know and I'll be gald to help! 🙂

Hi there @haddocksd. Good to see you in the Community and thanks for your suggestion.
I was able to find this request for having AMT in the exercises shortcuts for you to manually record it from your tracker which you can see here and add your vote and comments but this is not to be part of the SmartTrack feature. You could as well create your own feature request for it to be added as part of the SmartTrack exercises if you'd like.
Anything else you may need, let me know!

@FerdinandFitbit I'm not really sure what you meant in that reply, but the point of purchasing an activity tracker is to not have to manually record your activity.
Often times machines like AMTs, ellipticals, and treadmills will give you innacurate calorie burn estimations because they are not taking into account your personal data (ie. height, weight, age, etc.) and I would like Fitbit to have AMT in smart tracking so that I not only get accurate distance traveled, but also accurate calorie burn and steps taken. Hopefully you will be able to incorporate this into the software in future models, because AMT's are becoming as common as ellipticals and users shouldn't have to manually track such a common activity.
