Re: Step Count While Not Moving

I get the sensitive issue, but how does it count steps when it is laying on the end table. I have a Blaze. I charged mine last night and forgot to put it on when I went to bed. When I picked it up from the end table, this morning, it had 93 steps on it. It had not moved since 9 pm the night before?

@Chocmom Welcome to our Fitbit Community family!

It's really odd that your Fitbit is counting steps while on the table. Since you already checked the sensitivity of your Blaze my recommendation is to restart the Fitbit since this can solve the issue. To restart it please follow this instructions

Give it a shot and let me know if that works! Smiley Wink

Did not work. I did the cold restart. One night a week, I will leave my
blaze on charge while I sleep. The next morning when I put it on, it has a
few steps already registered. For instance, this morning, it showed 110
steps before I put it on.

No big deal. Still motivates me to get in my steps each deal.
