My wife gave me her Blaze to track my fitness etc and I created another account and set the fitbit up accordingly. She has gone into her phones Bluetooth and forgotten the Blaze but I am still receiving her text message notifications. I am setup on a different email address and account to hers so there is no link between the 2. Any ideas on how I can stop this?

To anyone have other people’s messages appear on their blaze;
check ALL devices that have Bluetooth capabilities, make sure they don’t have a connection to the blaze. (Especially iPads as apple devices love to share resources).
check for what’s common when receiving the messages, do you get them all or just ones when you are in certain locations or at certain times.
Check what type of messages you are getting, is it just text messages or do you get other incorrect notifications? Do any other devices get these messages?
it is very easy to forget all the pairings, so running through the above can help identify overlooked causes.
most of the problems solved by the user have been caused by a forgotten/overlooked pairing.
this could save you from having to mess around with replacements
good luck!

I suppose that would depend on whether it is linked by email or bluetooth. My problem was that there were no bluetooth connections whatsoever. I tried to detect the fitbit on two iphones and 2 ipads but none of them could detect it and yet it was still receiving my text messages. I think for some reason, because it couldn't connect by bluetooth, it was connecting through my email address. None of it really makes sense and I wonder why it only seems to be happening with blaze.

I don’t understand how the blaze can get messages without Bluetooth, as it has no Wi-fi or data connection.
The only communication path to the Blaze is via Bluetooth, it physically doesn’t have the hardware to connect by itself???
is there definitely nothing else it could have connected to? Pc, laptop or Mac?
i would love it if the blaze could work getting messages without Bluetooth, this would be an awesome feature (if you could get it to show you the right messages!!)
did fitbit support explain how it would get messages via email? I would love to try and copy it.

I really have no idea. All I know is that my daughter was getting my messages whilst at college and I was at work about 10 miles away. She is on Giffgaff, I am on sky mobile. We have separate email accounts. When I first bought her fitbit, I did connect it to my fitbit app to try to set it up to test it out. I then removed it from my fitbit account and my bluetooth. All was going well for about 6 months until suddenly my daughter started getting my messages but there were no bluetooth connections. It made no sense.
When I contacted fitbit they asked for mine and my daughter's email addresses that were linked with our fitbits. They told me that her fitbit blaze was linked to my email address. I was told to restart my fitbit and then got to the fitbit app and set my own fitbit alta up again as a new fitbit to force the app to receive my messages. I was receiving my own messages anyway. It's just my daughter was receiving them too (apparently something else that should be impossible). I also did the same thing to my daughter's fitbit. This seemed to do the trick. I was then asked to connect the blaze to bluetooth but this wasn't possible as none of our devices were detecting the blaze. This is when fitbit decided to just send me a new one. However, whilst waiting for the new one, the blaze started picking up my text messages again (without bluetooth). Since the new blaze arrived and has been set up, the old one has now stopped receiving my messages. Very very odd.

I have an Ionic and my wife a Versa and has only been connected to our own accounts. We of course are on same WiFi but that is it. I see who is calling her, and gets her text simultanuosly

I am having the exact same issue as you are but with a Versa!! I have my husband my Versa because we got a new one in a different color for me to wear! He gets all my calls and texts but does not get his own! I followed the exact same steps by forgetting mine when adding a new one! He set the old one up on his phone and registered it to himself, we even have different operating systems! We have deleted them both and installed again..still nothing has been resolved!
