Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature.  What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze?  I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

Hey everyone, just a reminder to keep all posts on this thread related to the topic. Any further off-topic posts may be removed.

Similar to clock faces, Fitbit does intend to include Reminders to Move with Blaze's next firmware update, and we will create a new thread with relevant information when that happens.

Can we please have some estimate of when that will be? We've waited a very long time already and it would be nice to have something to look forward to and know that Fitbit has a date they are committed to hitting for the community.

It will happen, close to the christmas season......when the new devices are released.  I understand the want and desire for it to come to the Blaze, but it will not happen in 2016.

Great. And this will be...? Can we get like a ball park estimate, cause this is getting ridiculous. I could say, "Yeah, I'm going to do X! I'll let you know when I've got more info on that," and then NEVER deliver. This looks REALLY bad on Fitbit, guys. Stringing us along is NOT COOL, let alone for 6 MONTHS.

It must be coming soon as if you look at the blaze's page on their website they list it as a feature!

https://www.fitbit.com/uk/blaze

It also talks about new clock faces and expanded notifications on this page.

@MattG92 Yes sir! Check out more detailed info here:

"Fitbit is delivering new features in September to all Fitbit Blaze users through a free software update that will enhance your fitness experience by helping you stay more active, keep you more connected to what matters most, and give you new ways to personalize your tracker.

  • Reminders to Move help you stay active and reduce stationary time. Now available on display with real-time progress tracking, the friendly messages and vibrational prompts can be personalized to your schedule to help motivate you to meet a mini-step goal of 250 steps each hour (approximately 2-3 minutes of walking), and will congratulate you when you achieve the goal.

  • Extended Smart Notifications help you stay connected to what matters most to you. Now, notifications from your smartphone can be delivered to your device with an on-screen message and a vibrating alert, including notifications from apps like Facebook, Gmail, Instagram, Skype, Slack, Snapchat, WeChat, WhatsApp and more; plus, you have the option to customize which notifications you receive.

  • New Clock Faces give you more ways to change the look of your tracker with five new clock faces, bringing the total to nine that you can choose from to further personalize your Blaze."

Dear Ferdin,

Good evening and thank you for the replies. Whether the firmware and software updates for the Blaze arrive next week or later this year - all good! Having worked in the realm of Quality Assurance I know how difficult it becomes reaching deadlines. Now that Fitbit has the stockholders to answer to the importance of sound product & service releases have a grave importance- best of luck and hope the Beta Field Community offers you much assistance and feedback!! @FerdinandFitbit
