Review: Fitbit Blaze - Battery experiences

At the begining i want to say that reported 5 days of battery life is not too much but I'm happy when this happens.

Many times the battery dies in less than 5 days.

1) I have experienced that the Blaze could lasts 5 days when the watch is completly depleted and automatically shutted off. Then the full charge gives the maximum out of the battery.

Then saddly I need internet conection to sync the time :-(.

2) Other days when i try to charge earlier e.g at medium level of battery the Blaze is depleted in less than 3 days and sometimes in less than 1 day.

It also depends on the the notifications you get. Are you getting text messages etc?

In other 4 months I use the Blaze only as a watch and to count steps.

I have completly disabled all the notifications.

Also the HR monitor is turned off.

So these features should not have impact on the battery life.

Because of unpredictable behavior of the blaze's battery it also failed to use as a watch on the vacation (in the National park without internet connection).

At the night it was full, in the morning almost full,

before end of the trip the blaze was depleted.

For more than 6 days the watch was showing incorrect time - useless as watch, as allarm, as daily goal monitor.

Many of the issues with the blaze depends on the battery (and not so good firmware).

And now also the watchband is also at the end - broken near the frame.

Now my Blaze is one year old - Happy Birthday.
