Hi @Johnthelad52! It's nice seeing you here. May I ask for your Fitbit tracker's model?

Anyhow, you can refer to How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device? 🙂

The 'Check Fitbit App' message is nothing to do with Bluetooth or syncing, but is telling you to run up the app on your phone so that the phone's GPS dat can be passed to the Blaze so it can track your run. All you need to do is open the app into the foreground and shut the phone down again I think.

Hi, it’s a Blaze 101, and has always worked perfectly on previous runs, just put an update on my phone, don’t know if that is the problem

Hi Mike, I’ve tried it with the app open and closed, doesn’t make any difference

Hey there @Johnthelad52, welcome to the Community! @moniqueresuello and @MikeF thanks for stopping by.

Could you please provide me with a screenshot of the message you are seeing in the app? In the meantime, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated by following the instructions provided in the How do I update the Fitbit app for iOS? post.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

I’ve had the same issue. The only solution that has worked for me is to reboot my phone (iPhone 7 iOS 11) and relaunch the Fitbit app. Works fine after that.
