My fitbit Blaze won't receive notifications from my phone-texts, phone calls etc. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the fit bit to my phone. I even got a replacement fit bit thinking that was the problem. I have an S8+ which I have read to be difficult to pair with fit bit, but I have a friend with the same phone and fit bit and it works for her.

Best AnswerI'm also having this issue, and I have gone through all the settings as mentioned on different posts on here, all notifications are turned on correctly etc, and I'm still not receiving any call, texts or calendar notification from my S8. It should not be this complicated.

If you have followed the steps provided above and you're still having issues, our team is aware of some issues on the Samsung side that reduce Blaze's ability to connect with the S8. These issues affect several Bluetooth devices from other manufacturers as well and users will need to wait for Samsung to release an update which resolves this underlying issue.

Best AnswerI got a S8 OS update yesterday 12/11 after the upgrade, my blaze is getting all notifications. Before this update I hadn't gotten a notification from my S8 since I got it in August. I had a S7 before then and no issues with my Blaze. I had read rumors an update was coming from Samsung to address this issue, so for now I am working for the first time since getting my S8.
Mine just started working!! My phone did the update over the weekend and it is now sending all notifications 😊
@SilviaFitbit Yes I have followed all of the necessary steps, and all the settings are turned on correctly so that I should be receiving notifications. I have gone through all of the steps possible and no luck!!
@BuchmoyerS I'm glad to hear yours is now working. I checked my phone settings and I have the most recent software update downloaded so I really don't know why I'm not receiving notifications, its very frustrating.

With my charge 2 everything worked.

Best AnswerNotifications I've never had problems with, last night I did an update to the phone and for the first time my tracker is syncing in the background.
The most recent Samsung update seems to have resolve a lot of these issues. If you haven't gotten the update yet, be patient. Updates are often done in groups so as not to overwhelm the servers.
